The V&H system looks very nice!  Here's what I heard back from Klock Werks:

1)   Yes, the short SS Slash Back is a 4” muffler.
2)   Although no muffler on the market is guaranteed blue proof, there is no reason to worry. We have never—even after extensive dyno runs and tuning—experienced any bluing on our pipes. Our baffle thickness and chrome plating is top notch and there are few other mufflers that can even compare. Obviously, negligence and carelessness while tuning could cause any brand of muffler to blue. Just make sure you dyno chief is top notch and problems will be nonexistent.

3)   The fuel management system we have used and continue to recommend for the 2010 models is the Dynojet Power Commander with an Auto Tuner. These work the best, and we receive the best results while using them. For the older models, (older than 2010) we prefer Zippers Thunder Max.

4)   Our decibel numbers (keep in mind all numbers vary when different meters, locations, and operators come into play) are very comparable to V&H. However, keep in mind that decibel numbers are usually subjective.

5)   While revving up the bike, our mufflers will probably have a little more bark, and while at a cruising speed they have a lower hum. Our customers did not believe us until they went for a road trip and had full conversations with their passengers!! These pipes are remarkable!

Although our 2010 Double Back Header Systems are not available yet, they will be soon.

They will.....eventually, I have the freedom duals (4 in), and I dragged them after having them for 2 weeks....I guess it just depends on how aggressively you ride though....

V&H hi-output slip-on   #16457
LG

I actually thought they were Monster Rounds.  They look great!  :2vrolijk_21:  How would you rate the sound level:  medium, loud, very loud?  (Yes I know it's subjective.)  Can you hear the radio tooling down the road?  Just interested because I ordered a set but they are still on back-order.  Hoping for early Feb delivery.  Thanks!

Run,Looks,Sound good!!!

That is probably the nicest exhaust I've ever seen. The only exhaust I can think that looks better is the same system in black mounted up on a Spiced Rum!! (lol)   :2vrolijk_21:

Bad pics due to lighting ... LOVE the sound ... they have a quiet baffle available for those that want a little less bark (I'm not one of them  :) ). Ignore the tape, still working on a license plate mod which will hopefully be done in a couple of weeks.

Nice sound on the Klock Werks, thanks for taking the time to do that.  I assume that you're running those with the stock headers?  Any reason why you went with those instead of the SS Slash Backs?

I had the headers de-cated by fullsac. I have been very satisfied with all the products I've got from Klockwerks and I really liked the looks of them. They sound a little deeper than the recording. I recorded it with my iphone so it sound a little higher pitch than they are.
