A little off the subject, but has anyone had the black end change colors?

I have the slip-on, so I know the rightside handles most of the exhaust

and heat, but have been switching sides with mine.  First a slight tint of

red but now almost a copper color.  The parts manager at local store has

true duals and his has a slight red tint, but it has taken a lot longer to

develop. He going to replace them so going to the chrome ends.

Yes, the black anodized ends will change colors over time. Mines are turning from black to a more of a "purple" color.

I know this is an old thread, but did the RH TD install yesterday with re dyno today. Took six hours to remove old and install new ( including Sta-Bo, and TC's "magic spacer" ((see pix)) for the Kuryakyn passernger adjustable footrests). Wanted thank everyone who put in suggestions for making this easy ( including TC with making sure screws on endcaps turn inward ;D) John
