OH, I forgot that I also just got this
Mustang Super Touring Wide Vintage Seat with a rider backrest and the matching TP passenger backrest with 2" extend arms. It is like sitting in a rolling La-Z-Boy!!! SO comfy, and Mustang has the BEST rider backrest design in the industry. The backrest receiver is built right into the seat, so no bracket has to be bolted onto the bike (makes changing seats super-easy... not that I ever WANT to change the seat). The rider backrest simply slips into the backrest receiver in the seat, and is fully adjustable front/back and up/down, and the back swivels at the top of the mounting post. It THIS rider backrest won't fit your back, then nothing will...
I love the orange-flame-stitched Corbin DualTour that I have had on the Honey Badger... but the rear seat was like sitting on a 2x10 for the BSR. The new Mustang is a full 14' wide in the rear, and nice and soft. I don't know if I'm going to keep the Corbin or not... will make that decision later.
Momma gave the Mustang her approval on our 3-hour ride up to Lake Burton last evening, and my daughter gave it her approval on our 11-HOUR ride last weekend up into TN and NC! I had a Mustang Regal Touring Seat very much like this one on the old '95 police E-Glide, and they both loved that one, too. But I didn't want the "plush" look on the
Honey Badger. The smooth look of this seat is perfect for the HB, I think. I knew I couldn't go wrong with a Mustang seat!
