There were about 11k CVOs (all models) produced in 2011. If I recall correctly, in 2003, approx 6k.
3300 FLHRSEI2's (Road Kings)
The compliment to it was a Duece.
No idea how many of those were built
in 2000, the year the brand CVO 1st appeared, there were 1550
What year did the Red and Gold Leaf SuperGlide appear - -2000 ? How many ?
I think the same for the 2001 CVO Road Kings in Purple and Candy Brandywine but if memory serves there was also a CVO Super Glide
Many consider the FXR II and FXR III to be CVO's but they were not branded as such.
H-D has always had runs of limited edition. The orginal Heritage Electra Glide Shovelhead in Khaki and orange with leather bags. The Moo Glide, Both runs of the Sturgis, The Daytona SuperGlide. The Sportser Cafe Racer was produced in low numbers and on and on. So it's noteworthy that in 2000 H-D finally decided to add a designator to the model name to denote a limited run ( as we're discussing here, limited being a rather subjective adjective)
