Uh-OH!  Like asking what kind of motor oil you like, this will bring out the opinions.

Whats the difference?

Appearance - Its what you like.

Stability - The batwing on the Ultra has had high speed stability rumors (I don't go that fast).  The King is rock solid.

Cold weather rides - Ultra fairings wins here.

Tunes and CB.  The Ultra wins that hands down.

No loser in that pick.  Everybody wins!!! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Having just come off of nine years on a Fat Boy, any of them would do.  I'm not ready for a Geezer Glide yet, so the Road King fit best (if I can find a decent windshield).

;)  Ultra - says it all.  - nowadays heated seats/grips/gps/cb/upgraded radio

The SEEG is fantastic, but does not have the ultra extras

The RoadKing is fantastic, but is stripped down even more.

If money was no object, and the size of the bike was no object, I'd think the ultra is where you'd want to start.

I can't ride an ultra - does not fit me.  I have both a Road King and a SEEG -- both fantastic riding bikes.  I like the fairing (upper and lower) more than without, the radio and the display of the gauges more on the SEEG.  When it is hot, the Road King can be stripped down to no windshield and it is a way cool - looking and feeling.

Just my thoughts on the subject.

Do forget about the SERG.  Awesome machine.  Heck they're all awesome.  It all comes down to preferences.  I'd rather have a SEUC, which is why I have one............but what I have and what I want are 4 different scooters. ;D ;D

Bagger, you are so right.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I have never had the pleasure of riding a Road Glide, but I have a few girl friends who do and they claim that hands down there is no better handling touring bike.  Not that I don't respect every one of the reccomendations from the guys, but somehow it seems to me, the girls reccomendations to girls seems to go further.

So I guess we would agree that
1.  Ultra
Tied for 2 and 3 Road Glide and SEEG
4 Road King

All great bikes, all have plusses and minuses.  All open to personal opinion and your individual riding style.

Money being no object, again.   ;)

I have owned both, so I can honestly give MHO

Drum Roll please - The Ultra is the clear cut winner - there you have it

Kinda like buying and SUV - you want the entry level or the one with all the options?
It has to be your choice but to have some many extra options to me it's a no brainer

I will say this my next scooter will probably be Road Glide as I moved from CA to IA
And the wind is a bigger factor in IA vs. CA and I feel the Fixed Fairing is a huge asset

So MoCO if your reading this how about a 2008 SERG.....Please

CVO RG by far a superior choice but then I might be biased.  I just love the way the RG's cut these South Texas winds.  And yes I would love to see a 2008 CVO RG, just hope they make the darned thing.

I have had a SERG, SEEG and SEUC.  The SEUC is the best looking and best equipped CVO, but the SERG is the best riding CVO...  IMO

If your touring the Ultra is the only way to go, to bad it has that big black leather tour-pak, "what were they thinking".

I assumed his initial question just meant of those currently available new.  If we're talking everything than the answer is simple.  Mine.
