It's going to be a race between Roger and Bob to see who gets to be guinea pig 03.  Just because Bob is so much closer geographically my money is on him.  But Roger is damn sneaky.  So it's not a safe bet by any means.

d00d's pretty slick...got that daughter in college nearby, but far enough away, so he can always tell the wifey "Baby, I'm just going to run down on the scoot to visit our baby girl", when at least part of the motivation is to view the young ladies strolling the campus in their new spring attire, or better yet, laying out next to the dorms getting sun.  You don't ever hear about him running down there in the cage when it's cold and rainy... ;D

Looks like Rjob used 2nd day air so I'll have to hack into UPS's website and put return to sender.  If that doen's happen, I'll email Mike and tell him the fellow from Washington state is in no hurry.

Sorry that I don't remember who asked about this in a PM.  But there've been a lot of questions about this package both here and in PM.  So I apologoze for not remembering specifically who asked.  But whomever it was; see below.

Someone asked about the adjustment knobs.  Wondering if the extra cost options that TD offered was something needed to be done and, concurrently, not sure if we even had adjustments without paying for the extra cost fancy adjusters.

As discussed before, yes we get adjustors as part of the standard package.  They're not even terribly difficult to get to.  Pop off the ignition switch and inner fairing cap.  Then they're right here.  See the little thumbwheel on top of the leg:

Didn't Terry say that you hadn't adjusted them?

I don't know.  I've not though.  Mine are right where TD put them during the install.  It feels so good I've felt no need to screw with it.

That's what Terry had said, that when I get them back make sure to mark them and for sure don't change a thing and make sure the tech at the shop doesn't change them.

Did you see I'm adding a True Track?  What the heck, seems like the thing to do.

Well hell, if you've got one of those side plates off then go ahead and do the Sta-bo poly frame bushings too.  That is if you like a stiff firm rear end.

Oh my, what a way with words.  Do we have a line on where the best place ot get them is?  Looks like around $125.00 for the 2002 and up.

Check with Puzzled.  He had them available in this thread ( http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=10778.msg170976;topicseen#msg170976 ) for about $90.00.

I got lucky.  I'd not have spent as much as they cost for what you're buying.  But got a set that someone had put in then taken right back out for about $30.00 if I remember right.  They actually did firm up the rear a bit.  Not a dramatic improvement.  But a definite improvement nonetheless.  Best part is install takes all of 15 minutes.
