In summary, I like it.

What caught me by surprise was a 'wiggle' or 'twitch' when letting off of the brakes after getting hard into a corner. Evidently, I had been overcoming the collapse - rebound action with a small control input to counteract the rebound of the forks. Now that that rebound is gone, that same input causes a bit of a twitch as soon as I come off of the brakes. I need to stop that.

I'm sure I'll quickly adapt, but it did catch me by surprise the first couple of times.

All in all, a worthy upgrade to make a great bike better even greater.

I now refer to it as "My #850 sport bike."

Naw, I got a head start by selling off a bunch of stock stuff like that GPS. Right now, I'm still in the black.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Had a reminder of the acid test for the Traxxion Dynamics upgrade earlier this afternoon.  Briefly rode a RK that didn't have it....

Boy oh boy do we get used to this in a hurry.  And boy oh boy is it sad and bad without it.

Well S-B and I are getting ready to do the Traxxion conversion and I must decide on the height.

I am pretty sure the best height is to make it the same as my SEUC so the bikes are similar in handling characteristic.

Can someone confirm the standard height for an electra glide/Ultra, are they the same?

I think we are going with 13" but wanted to confirm the standard height isn't in fact 12.5".  Wasn't the SEEG 12"?

Inquiring minds need to know! :bananarock:

Stock on the SEEG's was 12".  I put 12.5" Progressive 440's on the rear.  When I sent my forks to Traxxion, I told them what bike I had and what shocks I had on the rear.  My front ride height appears to be the same with the AK20's but they no longer bottom out.

Roger,

I'm virtually certain 12" is correct for the SEEG.  I know for a fact it's lower than my Ultra which is 13".

Rog...SEUC is definitely 13", and the SEEG is 12" from the factory.  The standard Bitubo is 330mm and the lowered version is 300mm, if I'm not mistaken.

The lowered look looks good, but if I were in your shoes, I think I'd go with full travel on the suspension...13".  Scrape less chrome off that way...
