Yes, our petrol pumps over here are not the problem ones that you guys have - easy on all of them to go slow, but touring in the US has shown me how bad yours can be. And as for those that are the stupid, stupid, shrouded design where that rubber thing gas to be compressed for it to work - well, if we had them here, there'd be a riot!

 :orange:

Yeah... gotta love our wonderful EPA for those. We should have riots about those - but Americans are too busy sitting around watching Dancing With The Stars, The Kardashians, and all the other stupid crap on TV these days...

Well to me I think that having HD to make this beautiful luxury bike and stuff it with the most upgraded parts and when it comes to the heated grips, you have to order it. And the weird thing is that not all normal heated grip work with it. Specially if you want to replace it with the same heated grip style that came with it. It is really expensive.

That's just the MoCo continuing their byzantine "market segmentation" practices between SEEGs, SESGs, and SERGs. I'll never understand what they choose put on or not put on specific CVO models. I really would have liked the chrome calipers, heated grips, and passenger floorboards. I have added the floorboards with matching Rumble inserts - but it was obscenely expensive... far more than it should have cost IMHO. I passed on the H-D heated grips, and have a seat of Heat Demons sitting here, but haven't installed them yet... that's gonna be fun... NOT!

Better hinges on the TP.
Detachable TP on the Ultra Classic.
A cover for the nipple on the hydraulic clutch that doesn't fall off and melt on my pipes giving off a disgusting stench.
The biketronics sound system (or something similar) stock.

Weak Compensator
CAT (but understand why it's there)
Weak seat
Weak shocks
Crappy speakers

Still love it though!!! Especially since I've fixed the above. :2vrolijk_21:

Live in the country.  Admittedly, lots of internal combustion engines around.  Buying a gravity feed "farmers" gas tank largely, not totally, because of the 2011 FLTRUSE.  It's a monumental POS!!!!!  And, yeah,  I do travel a bit and the problem is not solved then.

The ride absolutely sucks on this bike.  I cannot get over how bad it is.  Had it a year, 12k miles.  Will be putting new legs all the way around this winter.

Still like the thing but, no offense y'all cause I own two.  Buying a CVO is getting, to put it charitably, less and less attractive.

Hmmm...Let's see!
1.Updated, better RADIO.
2.Chrome bolts engine/trans. at least.
3.Useful gauge instead of air temp.
4.Chrome calipers and starter.
5.Larger diameter bars would look better.

Spend some money on really good suspension and it'll be a different bike.  The second thing I did to mine after the exhaust.  Warning:  once you do this, you'll never be happy with a stock HD.

If HD puts the words Screamin Eagle anywhere on the bikes, they should ensure they include Screamin Eagle performance parts....such as....Sert...
The only thing on my CVO that is Screamin Eagle is a couple of words.

Yours didn't come with cams, heads, and an air cleaner?

They can't include a SERT from the factory...it violates EPA regulations.  What you do with it after the fact does not directly effect the MOCO.  The Pro version of the SERT is not street legal.

that is the whole point!! why should I have to spend more money sending my fork to Atlanta, when I already spent $36,000 on the bike??? The MoCO should have some decency and replace the crapy front suspension on their bikes. :wall:
