Rode the CVO Road Glide over to the dealer for the 20K service and have the regulator wiring recall done. Ended up getting a new front tire. The 56 mile ride home I had a couple issues. The volt meter was still jumping between 11 and 15 volts. About 1/2 way home the warning light (triangle with ! in it) cam on. Then it wen t off and came back a few minutes later. About 15 miles from home it developed a horrendous knock under load, but sounded fine no load. Had to ride it like that a couple miles until I could find a place to pull of. Well it quit before I could find a place.
Got home with out it doing it again. Pulled the Code. ECM code P165500, Cam position sensor or position actuator issue, either the component issue or communication with the ECM
Rode the CVO to the dealer yesterday to have the volt meter issue above and the ECM code above looked at. Also to have battery load tested as bike doesn't want to start when cold out. There is a new softawre update for Skyline OS as of 1-27-2025. Well bike would not start with out a jump yesterday morning. I had to jump it.
Dealer updated the software. ECM Code P165500 is for Front cylinder ACR open. ACR tested good. Battery load tested good. Dealer road test, all good.
I start bike to leave dealer, check engine light is on. Service writer comes out and I show him that, bike shut of, checks codes, same code. New ACR on order. Restart bike and CarPlay doesn't load, on of the issues the update was to fix. Shut bike off, wait two minutes start bike and it loads. On ride home stop for gas. CarPlay will not load. turn bike off, wait turn back on and it loads so I start bike. Voltage gauge issue is fixed.
This morning, go down to garage bike turns over once or twice, will not start.

Software update supposedly addressed this and battery is good according to their load test.
Weather was perfect for the 112 mile round trip ride. But nothing was fixed. Not really the dealers fault, they can only do what the load tester tells them. Same with acr, tester said good. But damn
